I have a Sennheiser shock mount that I modified to work with my DVX100A. It will enable anyone with a long (or short) shotgun mic to mount it solidly to their DVX. I made it in a way that it works in combination with the stock mic clip that comes with the camera. It raises the mic well out of range of a wide angle shot. The mount new only costs $40 at B and H. I will sell mine for $35 and include priority mail shipping to anyone in the US lower 48. PayPal only please. Email for a PDF with pics and more info.
