I got my new Senn ME66 microphone plus boom pole. I plugged it in input 1 and turned input 1 on. The sound only comes out of the left speaker and theres a sound like its going in and out. What am i doing wrong?
If you want to record both channels (left and right) you need to plug your mic into input 2. Then you can set the CH 1 Select switch to input 2 and the CH 2 Select to input 2.
You don't have to shoot with the limiter on, but some people prefer to. It acts as like a knee protection for the audio. I don't really know what could be the cause of it but you could always try eliminating some things, such as trying a different XLR cable, try a different mic to see if you get the same noise, maybe you have the audio levels up to high and your getting some "noise" or something.
