Hi. Just received my mke 400 for my t3i. Can anyone please tell me some 'idea all around' settings to use this mic? Not for films or anything...just regular shots of family and friends. What level do you set the gain to in the camera? Do you use the + or - setting on the mic? I just want to have an optimal setting in case i quickly need to shoot something, and I dont want to mess the sound up by having it too quiet (or too loud). Thank you.
