Sending Edited Audio back to FCP

Okay, so I send my scene to Soundtrack pro as multitake project, do my edits. And now how do I send it back?

I'm going nuts, the help files don't help at all. Do I have to export it out of Soundtrack then import into FCP. Then that gets rid of my layers, and defeats the purpose?

Please help me!!

First of all you are doing it wrong, do not send a multi take project, only send the audio project when referencing the original. After you make your adjustments in Soundtrack Pro just close the project and it will ask you to save it with the audio file corrected.

This automatically replaces the new edited audio over the original in Final Cut. Works easily for me every time.
