Selling to BHphoto...???

Ok, I tried looking around to see where to post this and I couldn't figure any other place out. I put it here because its the gear I am selling to BH.

Ok, So my question is, has anyone ever sold their gear to BHphoto used department before??? I sent one of my Panasonics to them so they buy it from me and I am just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them on this before? Turn around time? Value? Etc.... thanks guys
 
That's not entirely true.

I sold a couple of camcorders to them back in the day. I got a decent amount for them, but it was so long ago, that ebay wasn't even around.

I for one am getting a little peeved with selling on ebay. All the fees they have implented are making it less appealing. The FVF, or final value fee, is preposterous. They take a percentage of the total amount bid.

No doubt B&H will offer less than what someone could probably get on Ebay, but after you remove all the fees, maybe it would be about the same.

Besides, if you don't like their offer, they mail your stuff back on their dime, so you can sell it elsewhere.
 
What's the process for selling back to B&H? I was looking at their site the other day and couldn't find the info. Can someone post a link? Thanks!
 
Yea, they just contacted me saying they got my stuff. But they say it will take them 5 to 7 buiz days to evaluate the equipment and get me a final price. Thats a bit long I think, but what can i do at this point. they quoted me 6,600 for all the gear I sent. Lets see what they come back with now. I will keep you guys updated...
