Selling products online...

Do any of you sell any of your videos/films etc. online? I have a DVD on Customflix.com since late last summer and sold ONE DVD!!!!! I have been advertising the DVD all over the internet and have a 6 minute sampler video available online as well. I am just wondering what I need to do to get more sales. Everything is professionally done from the content of the dvd to the dvd cover and flyer/ad. I have my sampler video on You Tube.com and it has been rated 4 stars and has close to a thousand hits but no one is buying. Which brings me to this question...are people not into online buying?

I think this is your main problem here

Shorten it, make them want it. For 6 minutes you're pretty much giving it away.

Myspace.com is very good for this kinda of thing, and it's free.

Well to be honest with you. The demo is 3 parts totalling 6 minutes. Just when a section gets good it switches to another section of the demo...I agree it might be too long...Maybe I will shorten it down to 2-3 minutes.

How long is a TV commerical? or a movie trailer? - and how ofter do you watch the whole thing intently without loosing interest and beeing distrcted?
That is how long you have for any demo video.
