Selling Nikon D90, switching to Panasonic GH1

I'm tired of waiting for Nikon to give us manual controls and better video features. And I've also been blown away by Tester 13. Unbelievable.

I'm not a pro photographer or video guy. Just someone who really likes to shoot/edit video's and photo's for fun.

I have too many camera's which are lying around, and I'm looking for a complete hybrid of video and stills. I do have a handful of Nikon lenses, which I plan to keep. As for my cameras, I plan to sell them.

As for lenses, I plan to keep the primes, and sell kit lenses.

I looked into ebay and amazon to sell, but its too much of a headache. I've seen some people sell their products directly on forums like this, and on flickr. How does that work...and how do both parties ensure that money will be recieved, and product delivered? Thanks.

Tester 13, I don't know what you did, but I'm sold on the GH1. Unbelievable!

Hi, GH13 is far from perfect as a stills camera

But you can do well with it, especially with fast adapted lens. However, if like me you enjoy doing both, then you will be more than pleased. Re. your gear, honestly, ebay is good-fair and reliable, set-up a paypal account and yes you have to pay ebay and paypal a small commission but you'll get a fair price and more often than not you'll get your money before you send the goods. As for private stuff, honestly, the same way, they send the money firts and have to trust you to send the goods!
