Selling my Zeiss to buy 2 lenses?

Sup guys, currently I own a Zeiss Zf.2 25mm 2.8, 35mm 2.0 and 50mm 1.4. Also a Canon 24-105 L. I really want to get a 85mm and I'm actually thinking of selling my zeiss 35mm to buy a Rokinon/SAmyang/Whatever the name is for a 85mm 1.4 and a 35mm 1.4. Is this a good idea? Btw I use a 5dmkii and I shoot mainly narratives.

From what I have seen the quality of the samyang lenses is incredible, however I have no experience of the Zeiss to compare with

from what ive seen and heard those sayangs are a near match-up with the zeiss , so is the price tag on the 85mm worth it optically?

Keep the Zeiss 35 f2 and buy a nice used Nikkor 85 f1.4 manual focus. Like you, I also have a Zeiss 35 f2 and personally would never replace it.

Nikkor 85 1.4 @2.8 on a AF100

Samnyang is NOT a match for zeiss. It is way off. I mean you can make it look the same in post but I would definitely save. I was unimpressed by the blandness of the samyangs I have used. The color just is not there. Good for the price, yes. Close to ziess? No.

That's a good idea, except you do have to keep in mind that your focus rotation will be backwards. If the OP's entire lens kit goes one way except for this one, that's gonna be a real big pain.
