Selling my Pelican 1550

I tried to sell this before, but was not able to complete the transaction. Soooo, . . . here it is again.

Perfect condition, no scuffs, foam in great shape.

I plucked the foam for the DVX and accessories. Rather than just taking out the outline, I custom carved the "plucks" to better form-fit the DVX. This helps distribute the stress more evenly around the DVX' surface area.

I also have most of the pluckings, so you can spray-glue them back in, if desired. I did a good job, though, if I must say. And I feel I must. :laugh:

Hole in the upper right is for cables, etc., and holds a hoodman perfectly, allowing storage in the hoodman. Hole in upper left holds two MiniDV tapes.

The best price has been B&H for $100.00 plus 14.00 shipping (to Chicago). That's where I got this one, btw, and it's virtually unused.

We will split shipping, so if you live in NY, that'd be $7.00 ish.

My DVX traveled recently and the shipper used the box as a soccer ball - Box beat to death - Pelican, not a scratch! I don't think the dust was even shook off the camera.

I cam REAL close to getting an $40 aluminum case to save a couple bucks and I am soooo glad I went with the 1550 - Paid for itself in one shot. Some things ya just can't scrimp on.
