I am selling the Matte Box from my DVX. It is the FM500. Great well built affordable matte box. Needs no support rods, fits directly to stock DVX100-100B. Will also work with the HVX (need step down ring). From the manufacturer: http://www.formatt.co.uk/dvt/default.asp

Operating condition= mint
Cosmetic condition= 8

It retails for $360 at EVS. I am selling mine for $175. Does not include the french flag or any filters. And it obviosuly will not include the DVX. It does include the 72mm mounting ring for the DVX, and also comes with a 58mm mounting ring for a PD170 or VX2100 owner. Or you can use it to mount to the front of a SLR for 35mm adapter users.

Questions on specs-refer to the manufacturer site above. Is in perfect working condition, the only flaw is a metal ding/scratch on the underside of the mount (does not affect use, merely cosmetic). See last pic. Otherwise cosmeticaly spotless.

If no interest, then I will be listing on ebay in one week. - Thanks guys. -Ed

I understand the HVX will be using an 82mm front lens thread- so yes this mattbox will work with the HVX fine.

But to do this you will need to get the 82mm mount from BH (approx $35) or you will need to get a 82-72mm step down ring off ebay (approx $10)

sorry guys, I forgot to mention - no paypal accepted (I dont have an account and I wont open one, they stuck me with the bill when a bad ebayer left me hanging- so I closed it in protest). If you are in the US, use a postal money order (avail from post office) or if in Canada- an international money order (the pink colored one- also avail at CA post office).
