He's saying that anybody that he can't meet and physically see and make a transaction with could be a scammer and he's right
 
I am from Philadelphia and I understand man about the whole issue buying online. I mean even people who are paypal verified are shadey, I sold a FX1 a few months back guy did a chargeback withdrawl which meaned he got his money back while he got to use the camera for 2 months for the dispute to be settled. After 2 months got the FX1 back and you can tell he used the hell out of it. Anyways im from Philly man I am interested in your DVX100A PM me your number. What part of jersey are you located?

And SilverWolf,---scammers can also be people who are 2 feet away from and
looking you square in the eye.
 
If you still have this up for sale in a few weeks I shall contact you about it. I am in desperate search for a DVX, and I am just waiting on moving a few more things to get the rest of the money together.

I am from central New York, right between Syracuse and Albany.

... for the first time in the first 2 weeks you just made me regret buying my first camcorder, the dvc30. why couldn't i have found you earlier??!:crybaby:
im also from NY, which possibly could have found a way around shipping =(

and personally i think there are more scammers from the brooklyn stores and such than other places across the country. But... since i havent really been to other areas, i cant say.
 
yea, if i can near the full retail price of what i paid, then sure, but how many are willing to pay nearly 2 grand for a (even if just barely) used dvc30?
dam BH and their NY state tax, bringing costs up another 150 =/
 
ouch.... there's a way around the NY taxes. If you have a friend that lives in NJ ask them to place the order for you and have it shipped to their address. They don't charge the crazy taxes to NJ residents/shipments.
 
Or if you have an official production company and are using the gear toward a production for sale, you can file for the tax exempt form with the Mayor's office and you won't have to pay tax on most production goods or services.
