PM sent

Curious if there is any differences between a Letus Extreme for FX1 and a DVX100B? They are the same 72mm filter size so I am assuming this would work just fine. Right?

hahaha! Kosovo!? Well hell... I'm out of here! What a joke.

I've PM'd the guy twice and he's yet to reply and then I hear this?

Right!

Better go warn the guys on the other item he has for sale!

I'm from POLAND not kosovo. I just work there. If you have a better ide to pay then go on. I just can't use paypal. Visit paypal and see if you can find this country. YOU CAN'T so give me better option? They just have WASTERN UNION and MONEYGRAMM here

Guys, I would recommend staying as far away from this deal as possible. That recommendation is based on the combination of the following info, Mahamut seems to have just joined the site and only posted items for sale so far. Based on the sketchy PM I got from him earlier today (see below) and based on his claims about paypal. He stated that Paypal is not available in Poland which is not the case according to the paypal site (see below) and the face that I regularily send items to Poland that my customers pay for with paypal. If I am wrong and he is legit, I am very sorry, I am only providing the evidence and my recommendation here, do as you wish.

PM from Mahamut:

"First let me explain everything:

I am from Opole (this is in Poland) but right now I work and live in Kosovo. I am a KFOR soldier working here for 3 years. I have many equipments for film making because mu hobby is film making. I made some movies here around, but right now I have a RED ONE and don't need the other equipments, that's why I sell them. The other problem is that in this country (Kosovo) there is no way to use CreditCard or Paypal because they have some problems with their neighbors. If ti's not a problem, the only way to pay is western union, this is because they don't even have e good bank transfer service. But I would ship with FedEx or DHL and pay for the shipping cost. I don't want to make money with those equipments, I just don't want them to stay unused if someone can have them.

I hope you can understand my position and you would decide the best for you.

The price is very fair I think :)

P.S. I will send you pics if you are interested this way. There are 5 people interested to buy so the first one will get it. Price don't matter to me so much. I just don't have place for all his. I will pay the shipping via fedex.

Thnx"

It's pretty easy to call bullshi* on anyone that won't post actual pictures of their gear as opposed to grabbing something off the internet. This should be the bare minimum anyone should expect from a selle online and should be a red flag before any of the rest of it. And it strains credibility at the very least that a guy with a Letus EX and Zacuto rails wouldn't have the means to take a picture of them and put them online.

Mahmut.

Seems like there is some confusion over the type of payment you can accept and why.

Assuming you can post a picture of your gear, as a moderator on this forum I can probably help you out. We can do one of the following:
  1. You can send me the unit with the rails and I will sell them for you then send you the money via Western Union.
  2. Your buyer can pay me and I will hold the money until they confirm receipt of the rails at which point I will send you the money via Western Union.
This forum is pretty much where I live, work and play. I'm held accountable by the members here, I use my real name and have been met in person by a fair percentage of the membership.

Therefore, since the risk for you in either of the above options is significantly less than the risk you are asking others to take, I'm sure you will be open to one of them.

Best,

Jack

Dear Jack,

Thank you for this offer. I found a buyer and sold this item 10 minutas ago. But for the future I will take under consideration your help.

bye

Well, he does say Paypal is not in Kosovo, which is true.

Write something coherent in Polish, and provide pictures with the items (I'll assume if you have a Red One, you must at least have a digital camera) and then I won't have as many doubts.

hee hee hee...

funny how this guy "happens" to sell his items JUST WHEN the heat gets turned up!

BAN FOR LIFE! :banned:

(I know, I know... he'll just get a new user name and be right back at it.)

I sold it because someone agreed to buy it. You guys are so unbelievable!!! Only when someone says a country doesn't accepts paypal, you acting like I'm an animal. Shame on you!!!
I could send you more pics of the items including mine, but it's not worth cause there are some people that believe to others.

Have a nice life
