I'm selling all my gear to raise money for new gear. All of these items are in good or excellent condition. I wanted to list them here before putting them on ebay, and give this community the first shot at them.
I have 2 decks and both have very low hours and have mostly been used only by me. I'm also selling 2 cameras:
1. First is a Sony UVW-1800 (Beta SP, 2 channel).
2. Panasonic AJHD1200A with all the option boards. The panasonic is a great deck for use with final cut pro. It plays mini-DV, DVCAM, DVCPRO, DVCPRO HD tapes. It records only in HD to DVCPRO HD tapes - which is the same as varicam. It also does frame rate conversions, and up/down converstion. The main thing about this deck that's different from other HD decks is that it has both HD SDI and Firewire. I used this deck on the Casino Highlight project and edited 720P native (DCVPRO HD) in final cut with no problems. New this deck was about 30k new with all the boards - but I'm willing to sell it for much less.
3. Sony HDR FX1. This is a great HDV camera and is in perfect shape. It shoots in 1080i on a mini-dv tape in HDV format. You can edit HDV native in FCP. It can also shoot and record in DV. It comes with a carry case and a large battery. I have the manual and the original box. It also has about a year left on an extended warranty which is transferrable to a new owner for $75. I bought it new at onecall.
4. Sony VX-2000. Also in very good shape. It's a mini-dv camera. It comes with a large battery and the hard (metal) carry case.
