I bought it with the intent to use as an external monitor for my DVX100b and 35mm adapter to use the monitor upside down to correct the image, but of course, 3 days after i got it, I found a really well priced flip module and bought it, so I dont need this monitor anymore.
Its never been used, except for testing it, so its out of its original packaging. But its a decent LCD, quality is acceptable for SD, its good for the purpose of just viewing the frame, but I wouldn't suggest it for HD or trying to focus with HD and a 35mm adapter, but it worked fine with my DVX and focusing with my adapter. It doesn't have a mount of any type, but im sure it would VERY easy to make one or even tape/glue one on, the thing weighs nothing, its extremely light. And its battery powered and hooks up through RCA inputs.
Its got a whole bunch of other weird functions like video recording, playback, media player, a dumb built in camera, and some sketchy Japanese games all built in. I guess that could be fun in between takes . But otherwise its not much of an attraction, especially for filmmakers, but its a damn cheap lcd that works. Also I guess you can record up to 8gb of what they claim HD footage, but i never tested it, and I wouldn't really take their word on it, but who knows.
Anyway, here is the Ebay auction, on the listing includes way more details and specs, so check it out if your interested. Thanks.
