Graded with Impulz Luts Kodak 250D

Thanks to everyone on this forum for giving me the ability to shoot with this camera and figure out how to color better!! Looking at you HUNTER and MAC and of course Matthew McConaughey who trolls this very board!

You've sold me on the Impulz Luts Ed. Do you have any photos of the rig you used for the handheld shots? What lenses?

1080p download man! :)

I love the tones and the feel of your handheld footage! also would like to know your rig for shooting kid head height smoothly?

Woww very nicely shot sir.
No clipped highlights. Good compositions. No jello shots when running. Excellent!
I personally don't like the grading though, I can feel those brownish LUTs taking too much protagonism but I guess that's your taste.

thanks guys - rig was f35 with zacuto and zacuto system and we actually shot from the back of a minivan and I just ran with them - nothing crazy. maybe we used the easyrig i can't remember. The grade Mac don't like - Mac is our cult leader. NEED TO REDO! SORRY MASTER MAC

wait, wait, wait, The grade was refreshing, it's nice to see a variation from the orange and teal. For the feel of this piece I thought the grade was fitting. Highlights look good, shadows have detail, not overly crushed. It's different, that's what caught my attention.

I dunno, the warm flow of this grade felt right to me. Seemed like it fit the subject matter (such as I could infer of it). Youth on the edge of childhood being lost into adolescence. Reminded me thematically of Moonrise Kingdom in a way. As such this grade kinda has a warmer Wes Andersen vibe to it's color, just without all the twee production design, stilted staging, wide anamorphic lenses, miles of dolly track and 90 degree pans. ;D
