"Select FPS Mode in 1080p... from 17 to 60fps... here comes 1080/48p workflow in v1.4 firmware..."

Somebody knows what this means?

Looks like v1.4 is going through final Q/A and scheduled to be released by the end of May.

It's really pretty simple. You have a limited number of characters to post in Twitter, therefore most of the time it ends up being very cryptic.:zombie_smiley:

Overall, V1.4 for F3 will only be of use if you own an SR-R1 external recorder, which I think is over $10,000. Otherwise, there's not much to get exited about.:(
 
There are other features to the 1.4 firmware. The most important to all of us is enabling S-Log as a gamma option. That means that in addition to Standard and the 4 CineGammas, S-Log will be one gamma selection. This has already been discussed here and on the other board. Other features are pertinent to the Sony wide-angle lens and SR-R1 recorder. But I consider the S-Log gamma option pretty significant. Doug Jensen has constructed some PP's using his beta 1.4 firmware and i'm certain that Andy Shipsides will cook up a few as well.
