Seems duclos is getting in on the 4/3 adapter show

Really looking forward to prices. They do quality work and it should be a well built product. It is a great time for companies like duclos with all these new cameras on the horizon with all kinds of adapters and cinema mods being needed for many lenses. Hopefully we find out prices soon

Got a message from Matthew at Duclos that the adapter they were going to stock were the fotodiox adapters, but he was not happy with the quality.

SO now they are in they are looking into making their own - high quality adapters. There's no idea on price and timing. But Im sure if they do their own they will be as they say high quality.

Had a fotodiox, it broke. Much happier with the voigtlander, even if it's 6x the price. Looking forward to seeing what Duclos comes out with!

wow!
a duclos m4/3 to EOS ... now I can't see him making a dumb mount,
mad curious as to how he controls the aperture, thanks for the heads up Noel

I was going to potentially get a Novoflex or Voigtlander, but I'll wait to see what Duclos comes out with. They're fairly close by too so I can go check it out and compare to my 2 other cheap adapters, although my Rainbow Imaging adapter seems pretty good.

Haven't seen the Novoflex, but I've heard conflicting things about it. However, someone pointed out the Metabones adapters, and the pictures sure look exactly like the Voigtlander, but for about half price. Haven't used one so I don't know if the quality is the same or not.

if he comes out with his own PL adapter, they will be giving hotrod a run for their money too. more options the better :)

My Nikon N/F to M4/3 Metabone adapter just arrived from Hong Kong today, while I currently don't have anything on the camera side to attach to (hopefully that will change in a couple weeks), no question the Nikon fit side is nice and tight/snug. The version I have is for the manual Nikon only, no aperture screw/slide/knob thingy.

I have the Novoflex, can't try it till I get the camera, but it seems very very solid.

There's also MTF, based in the UK: they have a Nikon F to µ4/3 adaptor listed here, about which I hear good things. It has an aperture control ring for G lenses. Several of the major UK retailers seem to be stocking this adaptor and highlighting it on their AF101 preorder pages.

+1

Everything about it is solid. Hope the backfocus is good, but won't be able to find out until I get the AF in
