Hello fellow Dvxusers!
I hope this post isn't too long, I just like to give a lot of detail so people feel informed before contacting me!
I am currently in post-production for a student feature I'm producing and directing entitled "Clear". We are currently seeking sound designers and sound editors to contribute o the sound mix of the film.
“Clear” is a thriller that takes place in the year 2017 and revolves around the character of Damon, an intellectual sociopath who has finally reach the edge. The film begins right when he finally decides to teach “society a lesson”. Believing that modern people and contemporary society is corrupt and unjust, he reaches the decision that he must make a statement. Through mass and individual murders, he wants to punish the masses and show them the error of his ways through his unjustified actions (which, to him, are fair). Damon is unlike a traditional maniac as in he is quiet, dresses well, deep, thoughtful, and tries to justify his actions through reason and logic When his mass attacks begin, two detective, Parker Koyama and Angelina Kyles, from “Public Conflict Unit” of the city’s law enforcement are assigned the case in a effort to track down the menace and prevent any farther actions. As the film progresses and the investigation continues, matters get more psychological, the path each of the characters are traveling are thrown askew and we learn of what is Damon's "master plan".
Based off the styles presented by Asian Cinema.
Due to the film’s concepts, depth, and characters, the film promises to be a unique and excellent showcase of the abilities of those involved.
The work for the film would include most location ambient sounds (in the Police HQ, the City, etc), gun shots sound effects, and explosion sound effects. Those involved will receive a free DVD copy upon release, packaging and all, and credit for their effort. This is non-paying.
I can promise a nice amount of exposure through distribution and festival screenings and with the blend of many intriguing ideas and concepts, this film is ideal for anyone's resume or as means to display one's work.
