Hello DVXusers!
I'm blown away!! NADA!? Nobody looking to help out the next generation?
And pick-up some work in the process?
Please see my post below about conducting a camera workshop.
Thanks!
~~~
First Quarter of 2008 I am teaching a course on Media Arts,
called Design for Video.
I need an experienced DP/Camera person to conduct 2 workshops.
The class focuses almost exclusively on the craft of (video) filmmaking
and has a great track record of talented students.
(See included links below to past work).
There are two 2.5 hr technical workshops as part of the curriculum:
Feb 5 video camera workshop
Feb 12 lighting for video workshop.
The cameras to be covered are:
Panasonic DVX100, Canon XL-1, Sony HDR's
The workshop is a knowledge download on JUST the essentials.
(white balance, time-code, filters, etc.)
It's imperative it not be an overwhelming experience, it must be simple and practical.
Everything you need to know to get results and NOTHING you don't.
If this is you or if you think you might know someone,
please don't hesitate to get in touch.
I know the experience has been most rewarding for previous lecturers and I'd like to thank you for considering it.
There is an honorarium paid for your time.
