Seeking Director of Photography
AWARD WINNING WRITER/DIRECTOR is looking for a DP for an upcoming indie feature entitled, "Citizen’s Arrest" to be shot in Los Angeles starting next month with Panasonic-DVX100s (24p) and destined for 35mm blow up. The movie is a dark comedy with social and political themes about an ordinary man who is pushed too far by strict and unsympathetic metermaids. He becomes an urban myth by fighting the system, and his actions inspire people of the city to incite change.
Applicants who would like a chance to work with a wry group of skilled/creative people to see what they might be getting into may visit the director's website: www.beeaje.com (additionally) www.beeaje.com/citizensarrest (for a script download). Comparative styles include: Requiem For a Dream, Old Boy, Man on Fire, N.A.R.C., Brazil, and City of God.
We currently have one DVX100 and are looking for DPs with their own DVX packages. Greater consideration will be given to those with lens packages (specifically fisheye and wideangle) as this will be a low budget feature with deferred pay. Special consideration will be given to those with anamorphic adaptors.
Please send resume to citizencrew@beeaje.com
