Secret DVX Menu?

If you get to the advanced levels, go to the DVX menu and hit:

down, down, up, turn the volume up one notch, flip to vtr, hit play, then stop, menu, up, down, down and enter.

It takes you to a secret screen that lets you utilize its secret in camera anamorphic lens, it also turns turns you invisible and gives you unlimited medicine.

Good luck!

I thought it was up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start.... It used to work in Contra...

Or, in the SNES version of the Lion King, you could press "B", "A", "R", "R", "Y" and it'd take you to the secret game menu that let you have unlimited lives, etc... on the Sega Genesis, Rob Povey's name was harder to spell because there was no "O", so we made it "R" "A" "A" "B".

Not that anyone's playing a 1995-vintage videogame anymore...

okay, back to the subject: there is a secret diagnostic menu in the DVX. I can't remember how to get to it, it had something to do with the VCR Rec button. There's nothing in there that you should be looking at or changing, but it is in there...

Those sounds more like moves for "Dance Dance Revolution" :cheesy:

At what point do you do the Hokey Pokey? Because you KNOW, that IS what it's all about!!

I heard about this too somewhere. I did read that if you go in there and "F" around, messing with settings you could screw the camera up and have to have a *Panasonic Tech / Engineer* recalibrate it? Is that an "Urban Legend" or is all that true?

I think its real, because I think I remember looking at the menu once. I didn't update anything, tho.

I've gone into the menu and looked around, but didn't try to change anything. Without proper guidance (i.e., a service manual to reference), I can't imagine any good coming from poking around in that menu.
