Seattle Grabs

I had a few hours to waste in Seattle so I took the cam with and got some footage. I tried to focus on reflections, but got a little side tracked. No cc done. V-detail thin, 24p, Cine like, ped-6 contrast +3. In order to get the blues in the sky I had to sacrifice some exposure in the city, but I think I'll try some cc for the dark stuff later. I gotta put a script together and put some people in my scenes. I hate wasting good scenery with no content. After I get a little more footage I might put some music to it and post it.

Man, that looks like a nice place to live. Oh, wait, I live here too!!

Nice shots, I particularly like the one you flipped with the reflection in the street.

I agree with Disjecta on the flipped shot and the cool place to live. The flipped shot had my eyes tweakin for a bit. Looks like a nice opening to a short drama....just add some local band's music and a sunken eyed girl.
Nice job Kevin

Slimothy - Yeah, I hate interlaced footage. I was pretty sure I was shooting 24p. I must have bumped my dial or something. I put the footage into a 30p timeline, maybe that is tweaking it? I'll try to fix and repost.

Thanks disjecta, and Greg. Yep, Seattle is a great place to live, minus the traffic of course. Thanks for the comments guys.

I like em. You have some nice dramatic angles going. And nice contrast. Thanks for posting your settings too.

Nice aquamarine reflection on the WAMU tower there. Kinda cool the way that thing catches the light, especially at the magic hour.
