Seattle GH1 users?

I was on the cusp of going for the GH13, but after reading the GH13 forum and combing through the footage on Vimeo and YouTube, I decided to wait for the AF-100. Some of the GH-13's videos are quite stunning, but 1) the banding, 2) the noise/blocky artifacts/mud in shadows, and 3) lack of ability to hook up a live feed to a monitor, put the kibosh on it for me. The AF-100's price equates to about a year of rent for me, but I'd rather go for what (I'm hoping) will be a camera with better image quality and features.

I've got a GH13 with the Hot Rod PL mount adaptor and Cooke Panchro/i glass. Woodinville area.

Hey all, forgot about this thread... do any of you use FCP? I'm trying to find someone I can pay to help me set up my workflow. I'd still be interested if folks want to get together somewhere for coffee or whatever, maybe share videos and tips on a laptop or two...

I'll be back in Olympia in late Oct. and will be popping up I-5 to Seattle often. Have been using Final Cut Pro since ver. 1 and would very much enjoy meeting with other GH13 users.

Anyone know a video or camera shop that might host a meetup?

Hi One Dog, I'm an Apple Certified FCP trainer (from back in the day) and I'm around seattle.
I am 10x interested in getting together if you are. I have $$, also. I have footage I desperately need to cut for the Special Olympics, and I just need to figure out my workflow. My email is danf70@gmail.com. Thanks for replying!

I'll check into that. I think it would be a kick in the pants to have a meetup. I wonder if we might turn it into an actual 'Meetup'?
