Hello!
We're looking for Seattle-based DIT to help support a shoot next week. And we're also considering Seattle-based:
-SOUND
-GAFFER
-(1) RED MX or EPIC SHOOTER
Here's the quick lowdown: We're shooting a 5-6 minute mini-documentary that essentially focuses on the "craftmanship" that goes into the creation of BOEING's 777. And in essence, this film really isn't about "a plane" per se, rather, this film will celebrate the talented and hardworking "people" (blue-collar craftsmen, mechanics, engineer, assembly professionals, etc.) who have helped create one of the greatest airplanes ever.
This is an intimate , "human" story about skillful, hardworking, passionate folk who play a vital (and often overlooked) role within the biggest aviation company in the world. Basically, we'll have 3 RED teams (1 camera on interviews, 2 cameras shooting B-roll/Eye-Candy) shooting/covering simultaneously in different areas of the facility over the course of 4 days. It's going to be a fast-paced documentary-style environment. We can't have a lot of down time, and we need a DIT that can support these 3 RED EPIC teams by transferring data and backing up footage, etc. We don't need to color, or transcode during this shoot, nor will we be producing dailies.
Mainly, we're looking for an experienced RED DIT who can help manage data expeditiously as to avoid any down-time.
Location: Seattle
Dates: Jan 30th-3rd
Crew: Very small, fast-paced crew, only 6-8 of us.
Cameras: 2 EPICS and 1 RED MX or… 3 EPICS
If this production sounds like a good fit... please email me rates, experience and availability ASAP.
