Seagate FreeAgent for Mac 1.5TB Hard Drive - any good?

Hi,

I am looking for an external hard drive to store my EX1 footage on. The Seagate FreeAgent looks like a good option. Has anyone used one of these and are they any good? I'm a little confused as in the specs it says it is a Firewire 800, although then states it is a Firewire 400...?

Seagate's spec page shows both FW400 and FW800.

It's a consumer product designed for backup.

It's your call, but I would stay away from these Costco Walmart class enclosures.
