F5: Sdsdi

Does anyone know if the F5 can down convert an HDSDI output to SDSDI like the F3?
A couple of times a year I have to do lives where the system can only cope with SDSDI. We record HD locally so the fact that the F3 can provide an SDSDI output is very useful. Just can't get confirmation that this is still possible with the F5.

Good question. I might have a pre-release F5 for a few days next week and that will be on my list to check.

I would also expect Sony to be posting the HTML5 menu emulator soon and that will help clarify. Dubious that anything will go up before 1/1.

I think the answer is no but a Decimator is pretty inexpensive these days and the F5 can power one from the accessory ports on the battery mount.
