SDI playback - TC issues

Greetings,

Playing back recorded material out of the 300 thru SDI to be recorded on a Sony R1 XDCAM deck.
Audio and video are fine - but i'm finding that the TC that the R1 is seeing is the TC that the 300 camera is currently generating - NOT that of the playback video.

I can't seem to "see" the playback video TC from the 300.

Thoughts?

Have you tried to run a separate cable out of the camera's TC out like you would in a 2 camera set up when trying to sync TC ?
