SDI Output to Marshall 7" Monitor not working

Anybody else have this issue? I'm outputting the signal from my AF100 to my Marshall V-LCD70XP-HDMI through SDI and its not working. The screen keeps flashing between a blue screen and a static screen and saying Composite NTSC.

It does this when I have SDI out turned on.

Am I missing something?

The specs I could find for that monitor nowhere mention that it has a SDI input -- just HDMI and composite video. It can be confusing because SDI and composite often use the same connectors (BNCs), but they're entirely different beasts, and not compatible signals -- just for starters, SDI is an all-digital signal, while composite is analog video (probably limited to SD resolutions).

SDI inputs and outputs seem to add at least a few hundred dollars to the price of any piece of video equipment, which is why you don't see them in universal use, or too much at all on older equipment.

Does your monitor work OK when you hook it up to your AF100 with an HDMI cable? That may be the most successful (or only) way for you to use it, despite the known weaknesses of HDMI connectors.
