SDI out Settings

Hi guys
Im having trouble viewing my picture on my Ikan monitor through SDI out. I have disabled my iLink and turned on the SDI to HD and the SDI output to ON. What am I doing wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.

currently (2-24-2009)none of the ikan monitors support SDI directly .... if you are using a camera with SDI outputs you will need to convert the SDI signal to component or HDMI depending upon which ikan monitor you are using.

yup. you have to go out through the monitor out on the camera. the image is pretty bad tho on the ikan. go out through the component out on the camera to the monitor and it'll look ten times better!

i have yet to try what ikan is saying with a converter... i am not sure it is worth the $400+ bucks for the box to go from sdi to component.

anybody actually have this set up??
