SDI and HDMI Output to External Monitor is not working.

I was on a shoot two days ago and towards the end. I noticed that my Odyssey 7Q was not getting signal while the camera EVF was on. I turned the FS7 off, then the 7Q came back on. I didn’t think any more about it.

Today, I was doing some test shots and the 7Q would not get signal at all. Just a black screen. I then switched to my Small HD DP6 and same thing, no video signal. So at this point, it seem like it's the FS7

I did a system reset and I still could not get a signal to my external monitors through SDI or HDMI.

Am I missing a certain step? I went through all the settings and they seem to be correct. I seemed to remember the external monitor coming on pretty easily when I first got the FS7, so not sure if I’m missing a setting.

Can someone give me some advice as I have two days of shooting for one of my better clients coming up.

I re-installed the firmware and then did a second system reset and the external video signal popped right up. I was so relieved.

Man, we were trying to do some elaborate lighting tests last night and wow... staring at the small LED screen makes it so much harder to light a scene. My friend and I were huddled around the tiny LED and you can't see S#!T. Reminds me of how crucial a real monitor is for lighting.
