SDHC Cards quesitons

Some questions about SDCH cards for the DSLR.

1. The standard is a class 6 or above. But would it be better to higher than 6 just to be safe? Does it make any difference?

2. I usually use San Disk. Is there any particular that I should use?

Class 6 is fine unless you are "hacking" a camera such as the GH1 or GH2 to do higher bit rates. Panasonic makes a SDHC card with a write out feature should power be interrupted so you don't lose data. HOODMAN makes a card with "chip on board technology" and is metal plated. Last but not least is Delkin Devices. I have never used any other card. Delkin and HOODMAN have tech support in the USA and care. What does your local camera store stock? Don't go with SanDisk for anything. They have counterfeiting problems...

up until now, class 6 was usually enough for everything except hack-induced high bitrates - the 5D3's IPB mode will work on class 6 too, but all-I will require class 10, and probably not even all class 10 cards will work with it
