Did you know the original Planet Earth series by the BBC was all short on Varicam?

Yeah, and imo no better testament to that camera's ability to capture gorgeous images. Never owned one myself - but certainly a fan and always wanted to shoot more with it (at one point shot lots with the sdx900 back in "the day" :-).
(and thanks Mitch for reminding me - that I believe it's time to dig out my blu ray of the original series and maybe get myself a Christmas gift by preordering the newer II series.... just spent 10 min trying to find out when it will be available ??)

Well that Fuji lens I had on order.. it turned out to be a scam and i almost lost my money.. ebay refunded me today.. bummer

I decided to get a Panasonic AJ-EC3P Paintbox with the money instead.. going to hold off investing in more lenses until i can get a nice HD.

I have to tell you, I am happy I made the investment with the Panasonic EC3 Paintbox.. it's made life a lot easier!
