SD card prices up

Has anyone else noticed how the prices of sd cards have been going up for months now? I think they have gone up about 35 or 40 percent from this spring. I noticed in Best Buy that there alot of consumer camcorders are using sd cards. I'm hoping prices will go back down once the card manufactures catch up with demand.
