Since apparently successfully updating the camera body firmware from V1.1 to a hacked V1.32, I have subsequently reformatted my SD card in the camera and would like to apply a further firmware upgrade but I now cant write to the card on a Mac or PC. I can taken pictures and footage with the card in the camera, but if I reformat the card in the camera, take it out and insert it into a card reader I can no longer transfer any further firmware (.bin) files to the card, getting the error messages "cant modify the card because it is locked" on a PC, or "cant transfer the file because the card cant be modified" on a Mac.
I've checked the mechanical lock switch on the card, and tried another card with the same problem. Is this likely to be a problem reformatting cards with a hack on the camera, or does anyone have any other suggestions. Thanks for any help you can offer.
