SD card formatting

I can't get any SD cards recognised in my HVX. Reading up on the problem I found a link to the panasonic SD card formating utiity but the link seemed dead (it was in Japanese as well!).

Does anyone have a link for the utility?

You can format the cards in-camera too...

Yes, I tried that but the card isn't recognised, hence the need to format before hand with the utility. Its a really old 16Mb SanDisk. I don't think I'll need anything bigger.

You wouldn't need anything bigger, no. But if it won't format in-camera it's unlikely that formatting outside the camera would work any better...

Try that and see if it works...
