I've been looking and highest I can seem to find is write at 22MBs. Do 32Gb cards write at 35MBs or more, or do I need a 64GB card? And do the 64GB cards work in a SxS adapter? Literature I've seen only mention up to 32GB in an SxS adapter.

Thanks

If i am reading your post correctly, it seems like you are confusing the size of the card with its transfer rate speed. The size of the card is different than the speed. You need to check the speed rating of the card (I.e., Class 6, Class 10, etc.) and the associated transfer rates. Cards of a particular size can have different transfer rates.

The class 10 I was looking at says max transfer rate 22mbs write. I need 35mbs... I ordered San Disk Extreme anyway on advice from video store...

You are confusing bits and bytes. XDCAM EX runs at 35 Mbit/s, not 35 MByte/s. One byte contains eight bit. Class 6 card is enough for normal shooting, though you may need a faster card for overcranking.
