SD 702 and 5d

Just came home from the store and tested the cable I bought (simple 3m mini xlr > mini jack). Sound comes nicely through. Had the gain on the 5D five clicks from off and the mixpre-d turned half way up. The cable has no attenuation...
So panic is over :-)
