In the department of "you heard it here first!" I wanted everyone who is using Xpress Pro 5.1.1 or Adrenaline 2.1.1 that the next point release (2.2?) will have full scroll wheel support in all windows, bins, timeline etc, as well as the ability to:
Move blue bar in timeline (1 frame and 10fps)
Trim with scroll wheel - this is very cool (1 frame and 10 fps)
All sliders can be controlled with scroll wheel
once items are highlighted (like a clip in the bin) user can scroll up and down highlighting clips as you go
There is also a UI interface to map buttons or menu items to the scroll when clicking - three functions with modifier keys.
I have been playing with it during development and it is great to ave. I love trimming with it - even though I use JKL a lot, the 1 frame advance/reverse gives finer control when doing that very fine adjustment. Using a modifier key makes it go 10 frames (0r 8 in a 24 frame project... 1/3rd of second in both cases).
