recently I've been getting thick blue lines all across my down converted DV footage. The source footage on the P2 card is fine, but I get these bars that appear.
I noticed when I send the head cleaning cassette through the tape deck it clears it up, but only temporarily. So the footage on tape is fine as well.
Also, I'm getting those bars on playback on the HVX as well as my regular DV tape deck.
Is this a head cleaning problem? because even when I clean the heads this is only a temporary solution as the bars sometimes come back a few sessions later.
Also, what is best head cleaner brand for the HVX?
