screw on grad filters

Need to get something soon for a project I will be working on soon. I am about ready to pull the trigger on Tiffen HT grad.

I really want something that is slim so it will work on a 11-16mm tonkina, extra points for a good anti-glare coating.

Anyone have some thoughts?

I would stick with square filters that will allow you do adjust the grad up and down, as well as rotate. If you screw it on how do you line up the horizon where you want it?

If you don't want to spend $$$ on 4x4 filters and matte box, then look at the cookin filter system. You can screw on the frame to your lens, then it will hold their square filters. It's still not "cheap" but its way cheaper than rails, matte box, 4x4 grads, etc.. etc..

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip. I have some hitech grads in the cookin P size and they work well but my tonkina is too wide for them to work. I am thinking about 4x4 filters, I don't mind the cost but the set-up time and extra gear is not optimal for me. I am paranoid that it will vignette. I need the 11mm end of the lens.....

What size mattbox would work with a ultra wide?
