Screening 35mm on 70mm Screen

How to shoot on DVX-100AE to transfer to 35mm and to screen on 70mm, can anyone help me to sort the diffrence and how they do it from 35mm to 70mm. Thnx

I did projection for about a year. The film would still be 35mm, and the projector would have have a lense and aperture plate to make it fit the 70mm size screen. I'm pretty sure that's how we did it, but it's been a few years since I was last in a booth.

I'm not sure SD would hold up on such a large screen...

It's moderate on a large 35mm projection screen. Then again, I've never seen it projected so large so I don't know .

If you want to screen on a 70mm, transfer direct to 70mm.
Screening a 35mm on a 70mm.....it's going to look bad.
It's not a good idea at all.
