Well I finally got a desktop that can handle the DVX and a good editing program. So I've been out shooting and enjoying as much of the Minnesota winter as I can before it is all gone!!! Through my current job I get to go to lots and lots of cool events. Sometimes they are cool with me busting out the camera gear. So here are a couple screen grabs from some footage I've been able to get shootin' on the road while workin'!

I thought they turned out pretty good, but compared to the stuff on here that I see I have a lot to learn yet!!!

I CC'd on #1, #3, and #4. I just got FCP 5 like 2 weeks ago. So I've been slowly learning all the stuff on there and CC is something I've always wanted to learn more about. I couldn't tell ya what I did exactly but it wasn't, a whole lot. On #4 I had the upper corner over exposed in camera but it wasn't quite dark enough in the lower corner so I made the darks a little darker. I think it gives it better depth, contrast or something...If that makes sense? #4 was a blast to shoot, i was kind of behind the frozen ice shooting towards the sun so it turned out great!!!

Thanks for checkin' them out! any tips are welcome!!!

I think they all look great. #1 with the overexposed sky looks cool. #2 looks spot on, blue sky, white snow, nice colors. And who doesn't love the doggies.

All except the lighthouse. The man in that lighthouse keeps me up at night. With his one eye and his crazy flipper hands. I won't go back, not ever.

Seriously they all look great.
