Shooting has nearly concluded on my latest short film, the first to be shot with my newly acquired DVX100A. Here's a synopsis and some production stills.

The Dingle

It's the beginning of a new year at college and Dan Hamlin is excited to move into his new dorm room. Imagine his surprise when his roommate turns out to be a cute young girl named Alyson Bartley.

The short film should be finished by the end of July. Hopefully at that time I can release it here for viewing! :)

It looks too videoish. That third shot looks alittle over exposed plus try giving it alittle color correction. Was all this naturally light?

It looks ok. The lighting and colors are consistent through-out. It does look very videoy (as spider said). But, until I learn to master 24p, so does all my stuff too! I'm curious how the audio sounds. Some of the shots look like they'd have a lot of background noise. Post some footage when you get a chance. Good luck! Your stuff looks good so far.

First of all, that housing director is one scary dude! I think your shots are framed nicely, but they look to be shot w/ available light. Not that is always a bad thing, but they look a little flat. Some CC could really improve the look of them.
