GH5 Screen not reflecting exposure change...

I just got the GH5S and attempting to shoot some stills but the on camera screen image doesn’t change, reflecting actual exposure. I can’t find any menu settings that look like it’d alleviate this.

Thanks for any help.

Remember, this CONSTANT PREVIEW set to ON works only in manual exposure modes for both video and stills. If you are in stills manual mode (Manual exposure selected with the dial on top) and use the red button to start video recording, the settings you have made in manual for a still photo will not be "honored". The camera will record video in full auto mode with settings of it's own choosing.

With the dial on top set to the motion picture camera icon, you can set video exposure mode by either finding that in the menus (no camera in front of me so I can't pass the menu stuff on to you) or the easy way is to touch the red motion picture cam icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen. The choices P, A, S, and M appear (you do have to have touch settings enabled for this). Touch M and you will remain in manual exposure video mode until you change it to something else.

I stay in this mode now with all Lumix cameras I own. I never use the auto modes, manual is second nature and almost as fast.
