We had a wicked storm in Duluth, tons of lightning I got out late so I missed the best part. :( but I did get about 3 seconds of good stuff!!! hahahah, well worth it, here are two grabs, that I thought looked cool!!!

Dude, thats awesome. I never get to see lighting at night. In the summer the sun is up almost 24/7 and so our storms are always in the daylight.

You know, that begs the question. If the sun is up here almost 24/7......who are we hogging it from?

You can get a wicked tan up here in the summer though.

I know - that's weird. I spent a few days in Anchorage in the middle of summer a while ago, and was totally confused that the sun went up two hours after it went down. I guess winters would kill me - it's bad enough at 44th parallel.
 
winters are just dark...........all the time. You go to work in the dark, and you come home in the dark. It really sucks.

Also there isn't any night shooting in the summer up here. If I want summer nights in a short, I'd have to go to the states. And winter night shooting is just plain cold.
 
Hey guys, thanks, I'm still exprimenting with the camera since I've only had it going on 3weeks!!! But I shot totally in Auto mode...I know, weak, but I didn't know how the camera would act to such bright flashes. Lightning is probably my most favorite subject to get pictures or film of, so mysterious!!!!
