i'm still learning how to use the camera.
but i thought these came out beautifully.
taken at the beach a few hours ago...

..did you just export the whole file as an image sequence or something?  

anyway the grabs look nice ..although they lack a little contrast ..likely due to the overcast sky. very nice though.

You could almost print these out and make a flip book movie.

That was way, way, way, way too many shots of the same thing.

You had some nice composition in a few of the shots, and some popping colors. But honestly, if it hadn’t been for the funky clouds, most of these shots wouldn’t have been very good. The camera isn’t even level in most of them, and I can only imagine how disorienting the actual footage must be.

Don’t take that badly; you seem to have an eye for what might look nice on film; you just need to practice, practice, practice, and refine your technique

totaly, just scroll really fast down the page and you got it. the mouse wheel becomes the old crank on a film camera..yay...

you should make a little short while the boat is still there. would be cool, some sort of gilligan's island scenario...

wow...think you've got enough coverage? pretty good; I like the colors. Also, I was looking at them and I notice that there is some noise in the shots...I've had problems with this as well, and I wondered why a lot of the grabs you guys post are so much cleaner than mine. Any tips? (I don't use gain, btw)

Yeah, a lot of grain... He proably underexposed the ship a little bit to get the sky nailed. Although there is a lot of the same thing indeed, they are very nice.
