Here are some screen grabs. uncorrected. let me know what you guys think.

Our set-up was the HPX 300 with the PS Tecknik 35 adapter with the relay(?).

Our lenses were a set of Nikon Primes.

Hey there, thanks for posting. I'm sure you'll get interest - if you have the time to post your footage to Vimeo or YouTube in "HD," it would help answer some questions I have.

That said, I offer this commentary based on the stills above: I like your composition and the general lighting looks good, but the interiors seem pretty dark. I know you stated this is uncorrected footage and most of that can be adjusted in post - that or maybe that's the look you're going for with this piece?

My biggest concern, however - that I'm seeing with a lot of stills and footage using these adapters - is that the overall footage looks quite soft. And I don't mean more filmic/"less harsh video look" soft - but like it's somewhat out of focus. Again, posting the footage might help distinguish this...

I agree there is quite a bit of soft footage. The DP and camera crew was having a hard time keeping the long lens stuff in focus.

As for the dark footage one of my major problems with the HPX with the adapter is that it they performed terribly in low-light. we were lucky enough to have lots of lights but some times we couldnt fit enough in to get exposure up. however after doing a couple of tests with Apple's Color we have made the dark footage a little brighter. I will ask the editors to post some of the scenes they have completed online. We should have a trailer ready in the next couple of weeks.
