Screen grabs from a Shadowrun movie

Geek alert: I played quite a bit at Shadowrun in the past, a "futuristic Dungeons and Dragons" and I'm now turning it into a 20 minute action/comedy shot on the DVX100A and enhanced with major CGI effects. It is also my first real nighttime shooting. I'm very pleased with the low-light performance of the DVX since I initially thought it wouldn't be good; I've heard too much bad comparisons between the DVX and the PD150 on low light.

My previous movie "The action film" can be downloaded at www.theactionfilm.com

No color correction yet. No special effects. Not footage from year 2060 (time of Shadowrun... for anyone who may know)

I'm not sure if I'll keep the greenish tint or shift it to a slight blue "Terminator 2" feel.

Feel free to leave suggestions about night color balance or feedback about "the action film" (posted it months ago but my website was, up, down, up, down)

Thanks.

lol geeky? yes, but awesome, I can't wait to see it.

would have been nice too have more edge lighting, but some CC will make it better, crush those blacks

MAke sure you get one highlight. Just one point thats properly exposed to help keep noise down in lowlight. the DVX is Noisy as is, and underexposing a flat nocontrast scene will look like you left the gain on.

look at the difference between, Grab 3 and grab 5. the tower is exposed right, and the rest of the picture is much less noisy. Grab 3 is kinda grey all over, and noisy as hell. Something to do with the DSP chip not knowing what ot do with no contrast.

I used to be a Street Samurai myself. Is this a short or feature? Where was this shot, I love the grabs. BTW you're playing the Third or Fourth edition. Old school gamers like myself were kicking butt in the year 2020.

I was playing second edition in 2050. Good times.
I never got into third edition, instead got into university.

Thanks for the suggestions.

the fifth screen is my favorite. I loved the snes game and i use to read the books, but never got into the dice rolling stuff.

The atmosphere looks more like Deus Ex 1 than Shadowrun. Seems interesting.
