Scrambled mxf Footage - Originally from Firestore FS100

I have a problem with a piece of footage from a day of shooting. All of the other footage from that day is fine.

It was shot onto a Firestore FS100, then "Organize P2", then the Lastclip.txt and CONTENTS were dragged onto a firewire hard drive.

The footage previews fine in the preview window in Final Cut "Log and Transfer".

When I try to transfer, I get a Stop sign icon with an exclam. (see pic)

When I pass the raw mxf through Raylight, the resulting quicktime footage is scrambled chunks of color. (see pic)

It is just the video that is screwy, the audio is ok.

We think we verified that it is not a Pulldown issue.

It is driving me crazy, because I can preview the footage. It exists, I just can't get it as a usable file.

has anyone run into this or have any thoughts?

Thanks for any help.
