The Story
Sam (Sam Young), Chris (Chris Hauser) and Sethel (Seth Harden) reunite the high school band in an attempt for stardom, only to realize that one thing they can’t outplay: themselves.

The Journey
A year ago I set out to make a feature. I was over shorts (thank you film school), the web series game felt bloated and I wanted a feature. Young, dumb, and high strung, I had an idea, a willing group of friends, a bit too much enthusiasm and just enough money to scrounge up the gear. So I spent almost all I had, knowing, hoping, that the end would justify the means.

But that's just not true. The journey of self producing a feature from front to back, writing to sound editing, has been an absolutely priceless experience in my young life. As I am finally wrapping up the finishing touches, now starts the most overwhelming part for me: letting others see it. The attempt to get it out into the world.

So let’s get to it! I’m in the process of cutting an actual trailer, finishing up coloring on the film and pumping out a lot more teasers to try and gain some sort of awareness for the movie, which I’m not exactly sure about how to do, through an actual website and getting geared up for a whole lot of “No!”s.

Any thoughts, comments, hate, love and general hugging welcome. Thanks for reading.

For Your Eyes
So, let's get the ball rolling! I'll be updating these as they get pushed out, updated and or nixed.

First Teaser!
I hope someone else gets it. We thought it was hilarious.

First minute of the movie:
From the very early rough cut of the movie. An early update for my friends to see progess. Will update with a much better version soon!

UPDATE!

So, I'm a day away from the first dvd cut of the movie being burnt. Also working on designing a website, trailers, scenes, looking into festival's (big and small) which I would greatly appraciate any sort of comments on since that's one area I'm extremely green in, a kickstarter and finally, printing some sort of dvd cover to work with. It's a large load and a slow process since I'm taking it upon myself to do it all, but hopefully it'll pay off somehow!

Thanks, Matt! I've been really happy with the reception and people catching on. I didn't know how many would. I'll keep you updated. :)

Update!

Very, very close to getting a kickstarter video and project up and posted. Trying to raise 5g's for all marketing (tons of dvd's, posters, shirts, festival fee's, trying to get it into theaters . . etc. etc.).

One step at a time boys!

Update: the movie should be playing in every single browser now (from safari to firefox). Anyone having any trouble?

Kickerstarters update!

Man, $236 raised in roughly three days! If I can keep up that pace, we might actually achieve our goal, which is absolutely insane!

$400 raised for the kickstarter and we're starting the festival process! I'm currently designing the DVD menus and playing with export settings.

Does anyone have a good tutorial for DVD exporting? It'd be greatly appreciated.

BUMP!

Another couple of peopple have watched and even more money to the kickstarter. Thanks! I guess it's working even if no one replies.
